The first bedroom upgrade, Restored Common Hall, and Mess Hall make the Vault more useful and inhabited. Slaves now move around implemented Vault spaces, while cell confinement directly affects Escape Risk.
The release adds new character and interaction artwork, refreshed presentation for 12 characters, three Arena opponents, expanded champion content, another bounty, varied Echo rumors, and improved Concrete Ruins presentation.
Training feedback, favorite-slave shortcuts, cell panels, gift descriptions, combat and overlay UI, trade controls, audio, and several player-reported progression and interaction bugs were improved.
The Living Vault update reaches the public with the v0.26.1 stability patch, including older-save loading fixes, clearer interface feedback, and presentation polish.
Make the Vault vulnerable to discovery and attack. Track threat and security, prepare defenses, manage raid pressure, and face events where the people, rooms, and resources inside the Vault are at risk.
Open the Scrapyard, continue the Jarek quest, expand Dustmere Rest and Cross's Balcony, and deepen relationships, rivalry, specialization, reputation, privileges, equipment, and auction presentation.
Introduce an organized anti-slavery faction as an active enemy, adding external opposition and consequences to the player's growing operation.
Broaden adult interaction categories, relationship-aware encounters, and lasting character states that influence dialogue, treatment, and value.
Implement Rust Haven, add pregnancy and family outcomes with related assignments, and introduce per-tag or intensity-based content controls.
Expand gladiator and combat systems with surrender, capture, retreat, non-lethal outcomes, and ranged weapons while opening the Oasis settlement.
Deepen Vault progression with story-gated upgrade order and additional rooms, introduce Mother Iron at Breaker's Yard, and work toward planned Android support.
Deepen faction reputation across settlements, make victories in the existing Arena affect prestige and value, and expand the bounty board with more targets and scaling rewards.
Expand income-producing assignments and temporary contracts with risk events, deepen injury and infection treatment, and connect harsh resource decisions to relationship consequences.
Implement and polish New Eden's districts, quests, and characters as the content-complete destination for the final beta.
Complete New Eden's first-visit content, lock the release scope, run the final quality-assurance pass, and launch Renegades Vault 1.0.
