Overview

Lady Tar owns Bonetown's Velvet Room and offers selective transactions, specialized training, and information leads.

Where to find

Lady Tar operates the Velvet Room in Bonetown. Select the establishment from the Bonetown location screen, then speak with her.

Schedule and availability

The Velvet Room is a nighttime location. It opens at 19:00 and closes at 07:00. Attempting to enter during the day produces a closed-location message.

Gameplay function

  • Lady Tar is an implemented interaction at the Velvet Room.
  • She reviews eligible Vault companions for a selective, fixed-price transaction.
  • She offers specialized paid training through dialogue.
  • She is one of the trainers available for the new player progression options.
  • She offers information dialogue, though the current conversation does not unlock a purchasable lead.
  • She does not sell companions to the player and directs prospective buyers to Vex at the Auction Block.

Services

  • Selective transfers: Lady Tar reviews an eligible Vault companion before a fixed-price transaction. The game checks its current requirements before completing the transfer.
  • Specialized training: Her dialogue provides paid instruction. Specific mechanics are available in the game.
  • Information: Her current conversation acknowledges information brokerage, but does not provide a functioning information-purchase option.

Lady Tar is marked as a potential quest giver in her character data, but her available quest list is empty and her current dialogue does not start a quest.
